hello guys,
here is the ICM kit of the russian T-28 it is completely oob except for tow cables made from picture hanging wire. This is a nice kit to build and even has full interior including engine although i did not use it, i had intended to do a winter wash on it but i liked the green finish and the way the tank just looks i decided not to put this one through the mill and leave it factory fresh and almost clean, i like this kit so much im gonna grab the T-35 by ICM and build it too, thanks for looking and all comments are welcome.

Nice work on the finish, a couple of questions, were the markings also kit supplied? What type of tracks are in the kit, indys? I've been tempted on several occasions to give the ICM brand a whirl but haven't quite taken the plunge.

What color did you use to paint this? I'm trying to finish up this one too.
Looks good though.

Really nice Ron. Great job on the pre-shading (at least that is what it looks like). I don't blame you for limiting the weathering.
I have this kit sitting in my stash. Pictures like this really tempt me to break it out for my next project. The only shortcomings I've read about with the kit are the lack of steel road wheels for under the engine compartment (I picked up AER's kit cheaply just to pilfer those) and no rack for the tarpaulin that was usually mounted on the left fender in front of the saw.
To answer wbill76: Yes, those are the kit decals and the kit has indy links that look quite nice on the sprue. I'd say you have no reason not to take the plunge for this one (if the subject intersts you) as you can get it cheaply on ebay (the Alanger kit is a rebox and is readily available as well).

Hi Ron,
Great work on the ICM T-28. Not sure if those are kit decals or masked markings..... either way, nice work! The ICM T-35 fits just as well as the T-28, and looks splendid on the shelf... right next to a Panzer 1....

excellent work on this one!
good painting and even better weahering. Only thing i would maybe do is a bit more weathering on the decals, look to clean and shiny but hey its just me, i like dirt!
good job!

Super nice. In fact the best build up I have seen of this kit. I really like the burnt metal exhust cover.

Ron
thats looks bloody great mate love the fading on the paint
for an OOB box build, brilliant you did a great job with the tracks
When you get the T-35,treat yourself to a set of Jordi Rubio barrels,an Eduard pe set and a set of Friuli's
I did my 28 as a parade tank,super clean!!!
The 35's gonna be a bit beat up,and captured by some German tank crew,it's almost finished have some pics soon.
Thanks for sharing

I have an ICM T-35 under way, would also recommend metal barrels (I used Model Point) and Friul tracks. I bought the Eduard PE but except for the screens you don't really need much, the kit detailing is pretty nice.
