Busy day today, we had to give the students familiarization on various vehicles and issue learner's permits to drive M1A1, M113A3, M88A1 and a bunch of engineer heavy junk so we got a chance to pull out all sorts of gear to run. I did get plenty of photos and had a chance to get out and take pictures of the M816ww and M936A2ww for Mad Duck along with the M920 tractor and the M870A1 trailer.
Also got good pictures of the fueler controls of the M978 HEMTT fueler. So those of you who wanted the pictures may be happy.

Rob, THE MOTOR POOL GOD!!!!!!
Great shots!!!
I had a request the other day for some interior shots of a M1A1. I wont be able to get them till the summer when we go on our two week annual training. since you get to play with all the cool toys every day, can you get some interior shoys of the tracked vehicles such as the M1A1, Bradley, M113, and so on.
Thanks

Rob,
Thanks a ton for taking thoses pics, they will be a BIG help on my projects!
In return I have a few pics that I have managed to save of a M911 that might be usefull.
I'll be starting work on my M936 in a week or so, I still think I can use or modife the Revell parts.(Yes, I know Hobby Fan makes a conversion, but I can't afford 198.00 for it )
Thanks again

Sure, we had the Hummers in the bay playing with the new SPORTS equipment, the Windows-based portable diagnostic set that is replacing the STE-ICE. I don't know if they'll be in the bay, but I can go into the motor pool if not.

Rob,
Since I work on the bradley, I have plenty of pictures of it, but i have no scanner to scan them into my lap top so I can send them to the guys that are requesting them.
Use your artistic freedom to take what ever pictures you want. Its just that Ive been getting request for interior shots and I dont have them. So I thought of you and you can also share them with everybody else. But if you will and can, definatly get some interior shots of both the M2 and M3 Bradley to show the difference.
ALL HAIL THE MOTOR POOL GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More new stuff, two M936A2 wreckers just showed up. I'm running out of room! Good thing I took the pictures of the M816s when I did, now that the new wreckers are here, the old ones will get turned in. Well, off I go to help down load them.

Rob--am I correct in assuming that the M1A2s do not have the APU? Is it only the M1A2 SEP that have the UAAPU?
thanks

Rob--my bet and hope is that we will develop a diesel engine for the M1 series. I can imagine us trying to patch turbine engines together for too much longer.

Rob,
What else can I say ? THANKS !
My collection of HEMTT pictures is growing to become a useful set to start scratchbuilding.
Could you provide me with any of the following next time you tour the premises with your camera ?
- M977 or M978 front grille (and whatever lurks behind that)
- the cabin roof and any other part of M977 and M978 seen from above...
Thank you !
