knows anyone if this type is stil in any army and in action?
another thing....is it possible to use the trumpeter sam kit undercarriage for a btr-50?
is the undercarriuage of the shilka,btr-50 and sa-6 of the same type?i mean the wheels and tracks...

The BTR50 is still used in some countries, I believe that in Russian Catagory "C" divisions it may still be used by engineer elements.
The SA-6 uses a lengthend ZSU 23-4 chassis.
The running gear is not the same, the ZSU and the SA-6 use wider tracks, and the idler wheel and drive sprockets are of a larger diameter than what's used on the -50
The BTR50 is based on the old PT-76 Amphibious tank
