Tell me what you think......This kit was alot of work to clean all of the flash off. It was an older Dragon kit, I built it straight from the box....

Looks very good too me. Maybe you can try some effects, like chipped paint, smoke and some wearing to the tracks.
Keep up the good work
Cheers

I like it. Looks like a nice, clean build, and it definatly brings out the mighty looks of the Abrams. Good job.

Robert
Nice subtle weathering. It looks like you decided to show exhaust stains on the rear grille. Note that only the center grille is the actual exhaust. The other ones are air intakes, so they would not show any black, at least from exhaust.
Also, the wheel hubs are clear in real life to show the oil levels. In scale, this produces a black effect, so you may want to paint your wheel hubs black.
The caps on the smoke dischargers are black.
The antennas look a tad long. I can't remember what the correct length is offhand, but Gino knows; I am sure he will let us know.
Lastly, the track around the bottom area of the sprocket looks a little loose. I have the same difficulty with link tracks too, but you might still be able to do something about this.
All of the above are minor. All in all, it is a very nice out of the box build.
Will you be putting the MGs on?

Agree with what Bob says above. Looks pretty good. A few tweaks and it will be great. For the antennas, they should be 2 3/4 inches to be the correct 8" in 1/35. Also looks like you have the rear light inverted. The upper crescent should be red, with 2 black horizontal slits (upper one long, lower one short) below it. Should look like this:
There should also be a black slit on the front light, to the left of the clear lense. It looks like this
These slits are part of the black-out drive/marker system.
If you can scavenge a tow pintle from another kit, that would be helpful too. I don't know what Dragon was thinking, but the blob the have you put on is not correct.
The MGs do need to added too. If not, then at least their mount do. They are pretty permanent and only the actual gun is removed when not in use.
Good job overall.

Hi Robert,
Looks real good to me. I've tried several sand colored paint jobs and my weathering stinks.
You've accomplished a very subtle and effective job on your weathering. I really like it. Perhaps a bit of weathering to the tracks. They seem to stand out compared to the rest of the vehicle.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Very nice clean build as already been mentioned. I might suggest having a go at applying a wash on the kit. That would at least better enhance the look of the kit and not make it look too flat.
I love all Modern Armor nonetheless.
