I saw this beast in a hobby shop in Budapest. 1/15 resin replica of the Turan assault mortar. The guys in the shop were great and removed it from the display case for me to take some photos - enjoy.
(I really love this thing. Something different from the Tigers and T-34s.)

Wasn't this type tank the first "Tank of the Month" at THQ?



Well not excactly the same tank but the lower hull looks the same

That would be a Zrinyi II, rather than a Turan. Based on the same chasis, but different name.
I've always liked this vehicle, as well as the Turan. Pity it is such a hassle trying to get a kit of one of these in the states (Botond makes them in 1/35).

I've seen video images of the Zrinyi II, you can compare it's performance with a Bandai StuG with Tamiya electronics.

I really love these kind of rare models

Botond doesnt make them anymore. They keep promising.
This thing is about 400 dollars...

Anyway, it's a great kit. If interested, I'll ask the guy from the store who put it together to write a review.
