Dear ALL
I do not normally get upset and annoyed but I am now big time.
It was reported to me that a Member of the armoured engineers branch REA had his picture with his name been displayed on THIS WEBSITE GALLERY
Well not only did I see one but a lot more. Including my own pictures of the M55 which belong to some body else who’s permission I have.
His action will inevitable have repercussions for the in that the thousands of unseen pictures of armoured engineers from ww2 to now may not happen. I also understand that he is seeking legal advice as well.
I come to this site quite a lot and this has now made feel that I should not contribute any more to this site or it’s members
Want to know where to look, look at Churchill tanks. Post war. You will see all the pictures from the website there.
Thanks
M.E.Orsbourn
Membership secretary Armoured Engineers branch REA.

The photos you are referring to have been on the site for some time obviously. Some were uploaded by Jim Rae and the Anonymous photos would have to have come from a contributed source (like a member). We will have to do some digging to see who. Which photos are you contesting? All of the Churchill photos?
Can you clarify what you mean by this...
Also it is standard policy on this site to remove any photos where copyright has been violated or permission to use the photos is not given. If these are indeed protected photos then they will be removed.
Regards,
Jim

dear jim
thank you for your help , sorry to be a pain but we do have some very rare photographs from members which would really open a can of worms. if we can persude them to allow them to be posted.
i have told the person who told me about his photographs and i thank you
