Hi all,
What medium should I use to thin Vallejo Model Air so that I can spray a thin dust coat?
I was thinking along the lines of water - as that's what I use with AV Model Colour....
All suggestions are appreciated.

Distilled water should do the trick. And of course their thinner would work, but I doubt it would be necessary for this purpose.

Here is what I have done.
Depending on how and what you are dusting, I have used the same dilution that I use for painting, I just hold the airbrush far away from the kit and move the brush quickly. for localized dust I may thin it 50% than usual, and I use their airbrush thinner.
Personally I prefere to use Tamiya Buff for this purpose, diluted 3 to 1 thinner to paint.

Evening gents,
Thank you both for the advice. I will surely be applying all techniques suggested above, as I'm using both Vallejo and Tamiya on the kit.
BTW, John, did you ever get the Vallejo Model Air working ok? I must say from my very limited experience with them - straight from the bottle into the airbrush's cup - no mixing! what a pleasure! I didn't experience any premature drying in the AB - fortunately
Thanks again

Rudi,
They work fine until you want to spray a line thinner than a 1/16th of an inch, then instant clog. So to answer your question, no.
