Folks,
I'm building two Pz III M command tanks using the Revell kit, and am looking to see if there's an aftermarket Star antenna kits available. After searching the web and coming up dry I'm thinking I might have to scratchbuild.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but the Pz IIIM is in 1/72 scale, and I don't think Voyager handles that size (at least I couldn't find it).

I know the Dragon 1/72 scale Panther kits include an unused star antenna.

If you just need the star antenna, you can have the one in my parts box. I don't need it, nor do I foresee ever using it.

Sabot,
Thanks so much!
I'm only looking to use the star aerial so I accept your offer. Just sent you a PM.
Thanks!
Joe

this is only if you have infinite patience and if you want a really in-scale antenna. Buy a dollar-store painting brush that has nylon bristles. Choose one that has bristles of the appropriate diameter and make it a large brush as you'll get more bristles for your dollar. You'll find the bristles taper to a point. Clip off a bristle and from the thicker end measure the length of your antenna - you don't want a pointy end for the star antenna. Now cut off the thinner ends of several more bristles for the star and super-glue six of them one at a time to the end of the antenna piece. It's tedious and tiny work - but this is Braille Scale. Nylon brislles are ideal for antennas in this scale (and in 1/48) because of their natural and realistic taper and unbreakability. Stretched sprue will also work.

I know of 2 companies that produce etch brass star antennae. They are Modeltrans and Extratech. The Modeltrans comes as a 3 pack while the Extratech are included on their Jagdpanther/Panther etch sets.
Dont know if anyone stocks these in the US as I have got mine from suppliers in both the UK and Europe.
Hope this helps
