What colors should the louvres be on a BT or T-34 based vehicle, the base vehicle color or black?

LOL! That's kind of what I thought, but there are a couple of folks out there that like Soviet armor and I thought that they might know for sure. I am almost positve the they should be the same color as the vehicle, but I wanted to be sure.

I'll double check my refs tonight, but my impression is that they're body color.

body-colour, as my grand-father remember. He was the comander of BT7 platoon in the begining of the war. I try my best to consult with him

Hey guys,

I told Adam (on another site) that the rear louvers on both of thee vehicles ahd the same color as the body. But, being that the engine was often hot, there would be discoloration amoungst the louvers.
