My small collection of oil paint is getting in pretty bad shape and I’m thinking its soon time to replace them.
I’ve heard of water based oil paints a few times and was wondering what they are and how they work. If there any good I might try replacing my collection with them.

I just bought a set. They are very nice, and are soluable in both water and solvents. They do cost 2x's more than regular, but I like them much better.

Just a confirmation as to Johns experience, I have bought a couple out of interest as I found it hard to believe that they worked the same as normal solvent based oil paints, they are great and really work well and I have found that they flow really well. I also have found that the drying times are reduced somewhat.

Give them a go and see what you think, its worth the effort.

Thanx for the info. I have seen them around but was unsure as to how well they worked.
