Hei Tuomas, Hmm, it's hard to say. The photos seem slightly out of focus. If you take the photos from further away and then crop them you'll get better detail. Also if you use a non white background-blue or grey- then the model is easier to see.
My preference for weathering is to use different effects to build up dirt I use a combination of paint and ground up pastels or chalk and washes of oil paint. Have a look at the articles below for some ideas

Too dirty? Can't really tell to well from the photos... It looks Ok.
