First application of paint on my Trumpeter Ekranami. Model is OOB with Eduard PE. First paint coat is Vallejo Russian Green from their Model-Air range (slightly diluted). Tomorrow the first highlighting coat....Jim

The KV1- Erkaranami is my favorite of the KV1s. Those extra plates really give it a beefy look. Looks great

Looks like its coming along well. For a first coat, it almost looks like you have already applied a wash over it but im guessing those are the shadows cast by the camera flash.

very nice Jim,it's coming along just fine.how was your fit with this kit,mine was a pain in the bud.warped lower hull and turret.
must have be a monday morning production i have build some kv's from trumpeter before, and didn't had those problems.so how was yours??

Unusual, I've done several so far and nō problems whatsoever - i've always (personally) found Trumpeter's quality control good. Thanks for the comments!..Jim
