Greetings,
I'm researching M8's in the 1st AD in Italy '44, and have read in a caption under a photo that they could have had camo painted over the OD. The photo wasn't clear, and I couldn't tell if it was paint or dirt.
Anybody know if there were in fact field applied camo to those guys? I would assume if there was, the color would be the sand yellow?
Thanks,
Barry

I believe they were described as wavy brown camouflage stripes, but I don't know the color of brown.
