Hello!
Im finnishing Dragons M4A3 and Im wondering which colour the tail-lights should have. They are in two sections, should the be:
Top=Red, Bottom=Orange
Top=Red, Bottom=Clear
Top=Red, Bottom=Red
Ive seen all alternatives on models but have no real source.
Cheers

Hi TOKE for modelling purposes you can get away with painting the top of the left hand light red and the rest can be painted black on lower left and both parts of the right hand side one ..

Richard is correct Toke. Modellers can get confused because restorers need to use different types of tail lights on, especially if they are driving on roads.
Wartime tail lights were as Richard described: upper left oval - red. Black for the other three lamps.

The tail lights were unaltered in British use. One more thing: the lights were oriented horizontally and not according to the angle of the engine deck.
