Thanks to Patrick Winnepenninckx ! AFAIK most of the pics show a Type 69-II, but I suspect that a few Type 59 pics may have sneaked into....

Thanks Frenchy for the headsup and Patrick for the pics.
This iraki tank is located in Baumholder (Germany). I take pics from it and other iraki stuff some (many) years ago.

Hello Pascal
So could you confirm that the two different tanks in Patrick's walkaround pics are one Type 59 and one Type 69-II ?
There are at least 2 different vehicles (judging by the 2 different sets of headlights guards pictured) and there's a picture of a sign mentioning a Type 59.

TIA

Since I was with Patrick on his Baumholder visit, I also checked my picture archive, and to me it seems all pictures are of a ex-Iraqi Type-59 tank.
Reference to 2 different headlights (I think) is the fact that one photo shows a protective cover made out of plain sheet metal and the other one looks to be made from floor plate. The 2 different styles of headlight cover belong to the same vehicle as can be seen on the last page, pic # 203.
All the best

Thanks a lot for the clarification Johan ! I had not envisaged this configuration

Now I just wish I could change the title of my first post.....

Lots of great ref pictures. I'm contemplating on making an Egyptian IS-3M. These pictures should come in handy, when it's time for weathering.
Thanks for sharing.
