My airbrush is down for awhile while I wait for a part so in order to finish my models I need to use spray paint. What is the best spray paint color for vehicles in ODS/OIF? I used Testors Model Masters before but it is too light. Would Tamiya's Dark Yellow work? The only sprays for military that my LHS carries is Tamiya and Testors MM. Thanks in advance guys.

The best match for modern CARC Sand is Testors Model Master Sand, #1706, FS # 33531. It only comes in bottles though. The closest spray I have found is Krylon Almond Gloss, #1506, in a 12 oz. spray can. Once you shoot is with some dullcote, it looks just like the MM color.
Tamiya Dark Yellow is way too dark and is actually a German WWII color.

Yeah I knew Tamiya's Dark Yellow was a WW2 German color but I thought I heard of someone using it before. But when I was in Iraq with the 3rd ID our Bradleys looked more like khaki color than naything else. Do you know anything about that?

Don't know anything about khaki being used. All my vehicles were the sand color. MM Sand matched them pretty well.

Use Tamiya TS-46, light sand.
