So on the one hand, we want to start new threads. On the other hand (Russo/Soviet forum) last year we've got a guy asking us to post into the ready made "how to" threads which even now few people use. Pick your poison.
I don't mind seeing old threads pop up. You can see a progression of ideas, without having to rehash everything in the new thread. Carbon fiber rods may have been available back then, but I did not find them until about three years ago. I no longer use cat whiskers, by the way.
