Hey everybondy,
Question, with all the new changes to the site, is the homepage set to "all" by default? I don't mind it, but I liked it when I could set my homepage to either the armor or dio section. There used to be an option under "my account" that allowed you to set your homepage, but that no longer exists.

If you're using microsoft internet explorer you should be able to set your homepage to whatever you want.
Go to the forum you want then tools on the options bar then internet options - General and homepage -click on use current and that should do it

Thanks Pat, I meant the homepage of Armorama. In other words, when I open up this site, the homepage is set to "all" It shows forums, features, and articles from several different forums. I use to have it set to open in the armor forum. Sorry for the confusion.

The specific focus is going away and since th e site is still a Work In Progress it may be a while (if at all) for those to come back.

Hi there
I was running with a bookmarked url for the Aircraft focus, but it does seem to cause some issues - and is a problem when navigating the forum now. Mixing new and old isn't probably a clever idea, so I've switched to a standard log-in.
All the best
Rowan

Essentially the www.armorama.com page is the default "ALL" page right now as it displays aircraft and historical figures as well as armor/dios/military figs.
Once the former move off of Armorama in less than a month's time then the main Armorama page will be just be an amalgamation of armor, armor dioramas, and armor related figures.
Cheers,
Jim

Will there still be a homepage setting that allows the ability to see everything? I mean, I like armor and figures and all, it's just that I like aircraft, and I also like to see the ships every so often too. I just don't have the time usually to check out every site on the network, part of the reason I really liked the old armorama was that everything was under one roof and there was no need to check any other site. I feel like I am missing out on useful material when I don't see new aircraft or ship features.

Eventually... given time, both the KitMaker site and ModelGeek will have some "Yahoo" homepage qualities to draw users to other sites and interests.
Will it ever be like it was? No.
Too much stuff to realistically put on a single homepage.

Hi Jim
It sounds like Kitmaker and ModelGeek will, essentially, become the core sites for the network. Perhaps there'll scope for some syndication to showcase the specialist content from Armorama, Aeroscale et al?
All the best
