I was wondering how much water I should thin Apple Barrel acrylic paint with in order to run through an airbrush? I can't seem to get the ratio right. Should I be using a gravity cup or the syphon bottle?
Thanks,
Aaron C.

I've never done it - AB paint is pretty thick, you're going to have to have a really high ratio.
I have thinned it down for washes and felt like I was using much more water than paint

I've sprayed AB through my Aztek, using the acrillic nozzles, but like Slodder said I had to thin it to nearly tinted thinner, not thinned paint. I used either water or windex to do it. You just have to keep experimenting with the ratio until you get what works for your brush.
