The Rules and Regs
This is a general modelling campaign, therefore all relevant genres (i.e. Armour, Aircraft, Figures, Softskins and Maritime) and scales will be accepted. The key point here is the word "relevant". The troops, armour, aircraft, etc must have taken part in the theatre/campaign depicted. The campaign leader reserves the right to request a participant to justify their entry or entries.

Contest Element
Participants may enter as many relevant entries as they so with, provided the entry is completed during the time period.

For their efforts, partipants will be awarded a nifty piece of cyber-ribbon to add to their collections and show off to friends and family.

Rudi, is it just my computer, or is this campaign not visible under "Campaigns"? Few days ago, it was standing there in the second slot, with "Rest of the World M113s" in the first slot above, but now both seem to be gone.

I'm definitely in and thinking of building something rather not common(like a desert Sherman or Grant/Lee). Must our builds be straight-on combatants or are support vehicles allowed? (I'm thinking about Tamiya's Quad Gun Tractor, that's why I'm asking)

Hi Emre,

As this is a "General Modeling" campaign (i.e cross genre), it appears under the campaign roster on ModelGeek.

Non-combatant's are more than welcome - As long as it appeared in the Med theatre.

OK, then I'm in with my Tamiya Quad Gun Tractor belonging to the English 8th Army, during the North African "adventure". I'm planning to begin in two weeks. If I can find a suitable gun to tow, I will attach that to the tractor also. Should be done and done within the summer.

The Tamiya kit seems like an easy build. Hope it stays that way, old Tamiya kits are so unpredictable...

Looking forward to go for it!

Forgive my ignorance Tarok, but I want to make sure my model is acceptable before entering this campaign. It is an Messerschmitt Bf109E-4/7 which opperated in North Africa in 1941 supporting Rommel's Africa Corps. The plane and decals are from this period. Hope this one is acceptable

Now there's 29 of us. Along "fighters under the midnight sun", this will be an ideal way start building again when I get back from the army in early July.
I already have one kit build for it, Dragon's Panzer I Ausf.B (DAK). As the kit comes with bonus figures, I'll probably build a small diorama with the DAK soldiers having a break near the tank.
