I am getting ready for our reunion next month so I have been building models for the guys. So far 6-7 Dusters (Renwal and Tamiya); 2 searchlight jeeps (AFV+) AND I finally sort of finished my first quad 50 gun truck.
Using the AFV Nancy kit and a number of scratch and salvaged parts, I made an accurate representation of an early ADA quad 50 gun truck. This is what they looked like when they shipped out of Ft. Bliss Texas in 1967 and travelled by boat to Vietnam.
No armor, configured to be loaded and removed from the bed of the truck via ramps and a wench. No "bat-wings".
