I had gone low profile over the last few months in Armorama due heavy commitments. Anyhow, just got myself enlisted for the Russian Big and Beefy campaign, and I thought of submitting my T-34/76 1942 for the campaign.
My T-34/76 1942 is based on the 1/72nd Dragon's Armor Pro series. It is an OOB built but I added two Preiser figures to keep it exciting.
Here you see the T-34 painted, filtered and washed. Since this is my first Russian built, I had difficulties getting the correct Russian green. At the end, I prepared my own Russian green blend with Tamiya acrylics.
I added surface texture on the turret with Mr Surfacer. The photo below barely show the effects due to my cheap digital camera which could not focus for macro shots. I also replace the grabhandles with brass wire as I broke the supplied pieces while I was cleaning it.
Here are the photos of the completed T-34/76.
With time, I have plans to add some tank riders on the tank plus setting it up on a diorama base done by modeller Beachbum.
Thanks for viewing.
