I am looking for pics of this truck (open cab version, as used by USMC in Korea) for a "future" project, and for any opinion about the REAL Model resin conversion for this truck, based on the Zvezda ZiS 151 (no info found on the Web, only the price )
TIA
Frenchy
P.S. Am I the only one to ask questions on this group forum ?

No my friend you are not the only one to use the softskin forum. The rest of us have not woken up for a while. I have been posting on the rivet forum as most of mine are on the workbench still. I'm sorry I can't help with your question on the inter's. Now it would be a different story if it was WW2 GMC-CCKW's.

You have been the most active lately Frenchy...
M5H6 Dump
I hold my breath when it comes to Real Models conversions - sometimes they're fine - sometimes they're not worth the effort called for in straightening them out. I don't have this conversion handy to opine about...

Thanks to you both for reassuring me I know it would be easier to buid one of the 3 GMC kits that are waiting on my shelf, but I can't help looking for difficulties whenever I can...I think I'd better leave this project aside, and stick to something more reasonable, like a scratchbuilt M 39 :-)
P.S. thanks for the pic, Gunnie, but I already have found it. It must be the one and only M5H6 pic on the Web !

Where can Ifind it??
In the last months Ihave bought A Real Models M88A2 Hercules conversion.
The kit is just usefull for making a scratch with the AFV kit

from what I have heard Real models are normally good, but I guess every model manufacturer has there bad ones. For a list of Real Models go to the VLS site www.modelmecca.com you can get a comprehensive listing there.
