Anyone got an idea what primer they used for the Duece and a Half during WW2? I'm hoping some of my weathering might reveal a little bit of the primer in a scratch or two. (Laugh) I will say this, if its not already in my stock, it might not be accurate, I only have until the 31st of May to finish this thing and I've only got the frame put together so far.

I'm thinking about putting on the Tamiya M2 machine gun mount on it as well, that's still up for debate. I have the kit and since this is going to be my first build in 15 years for an actual kit, I may just end up saving it for another build. I just love the truck, I really think it played such an important role for our armed services.

Thanks in advance for the advice/info.

Cheers,
John

WW2 US softskins used the mid grey primer that is still used today as a primer on automobiles.
