I applied a heavier application around the detail
the bank that will have the hedgerow on it also had a heavier application, hopefully this will leave the bottom of the hedgerow dark and give the impression of being deep and inpenetrable.

Shaping up well Shultz! The ground colour looks good. The only thing is, whats road and whats waste ground?
I know its "in-progress", but if a small bridge was built for water to run under, they might go to a little extra effort to add some some solid ground as well. Even if its only gravel. Just a thought!
I like the embankment and the hedge at back ... gives height and different levels make it more eye catching. Good luck with the rest!

thanks for all the comments guys, most encouraging, Jon...yeah got the pics, thanks very much for those good reference shots.
here are a couple more after the dry brush stage.
This shot shows the dry stone wall in place, giving a better idea of where the 2 lanes interect.
as you can see, the culvert bridge has had its first coat on it.
Currently working on the foliage for the hedgerow, think I've found just the thing for it, subject to trials.
Comments as usual please
Many thanks
