Almost there ...

Weathering bottom half about 90% finished.

Ambush camo done, added decals, started washes.

The ambush camo looks great Neo. Very radiant. Will need a few filters to tone it down a bit.
The mud looks convincing. The inside of the drive wheels need some weathering also.
What kit is this?

Gday Neo!
Have to agree with Frank that the camo looks good. Very pure tones...
This is obviously for the diorama, yeah?
Mud looks the part too
Cheers

Nice build. I just built this Tamiya kit and its my new favorite (for a while anyway).
Yours came out well. I would change the color of the stowage box on the front fender. The wood color looks too much like the camo color (unless the photo is playing with my eyes).

Nice camo scheme! It seems that the edges between the different colours are sharp anyway. Did you use any mask? And how did you make the mud?

Thanks for the feed back guys.

Frank - It's the Tamiya 1/48 Hetzer OOB.

Brad - Yes it is for a dio., it's going on the base I posted in the dio's forum.

Scott - It's not as bad as it looks in the photos (my camera does not do reds well) but it is kind of close.
I wanted the dark wood to show thru after I overspray w/ dust. Not sure how to really make that happen (this is my first fully weathered AFV since I got back into modeling). Any ideas?

Giacomo - I did mask the edges. I posted some progress pic's in these links: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/75483&page=1

The mud is a powered wood putty named: Durhams. Has a gritty texture that I like for mud. I use it for the base in my dio's also. Very stong and light.
