Started this some time ago. Saw John's (Sticky) sunken road how good it looked inspired me to get working on this again (thanks John). It's about half done now.

My 1/48 Hetzer in going on top under pine trees and the Swimmy I built for the Wheels Campaign is going on the roadway.

Hi,

I think it's going to look fine ! The shape of the road and the height difference are good. What is not so good is the parallel orientation of the road with the dios edge.
For the rest you said it's half finished only, so it's difficult to say where you are heading. The grass bordure looks promising.

Cheers
Claude

That said, I think that even something simple like breaking up the continual line of grass clumps on the front edge would make it look less 'structured'... The grass at the moment seems to enhance the fact that the road is parallel to the edge by acting as a solid border...
As for the rest, well I reckon she's a bewdy! Gives a wintery feel. And if there are to be pines then the extra colour splash will off set it nicely
The road surface looks spot on too...
Is it going to be some sort of meeting between the vehicles' crews?
Cheers

This is very nice, don't forget its 1/48 so it's small.
I would add some tall grass on the Hetzer side to even that out. Just being on the bottom edge make it look unnatural.

What did you use for grass?
