Hi folks, I worked a little more in this during the weekend in the paint (rusty tracks, dirt, and a long etc.) and itīs almost done. Missing yet the antennas and a few more things. Sorry for the poor pics, it wasnīt my best photo weekend:

The tracks are too red, I corrected that with drybrush with gun metal after taking the pics, so nowīs corrected....didnīt want to have an argument again with my camera, sorry :-)

Cheers

Looking pretty good. A couple tips. On your vision blocks or periscopes, they don't look right in grey. The best way to do them is gloss black or black with clear green over top. Headlights should be silver too, not grey. Hatch interiors shoud be either the exterior color or dark green as well, not the interior SeaFoam Green color. Pretty good job. Few corrections and tweaks and they will be great.

Nice looking APCs Klaus. Would have loved to see more shots of your interior but seeing as the top is already sealed on, i know its going to be hard to get better shots of it.

The only other thing i noticed was the colours on the hatch interiors. The driver's hatch had differing colours to the gunner's hatch. Was this normal for the Chilean APCs?

Thanks Jeremy, but I can get shots of the interior, the roof itīs not glued yet

About the drivers hatch, can be found dark green in chilean M113. At least in the reference pics I have, the only visible hatch interior was the drivers hatch and was in that colour. The commanders hatch wasnīt visible, and I painted it sea foam green because of a friend build of the same track, bad reference I know

Thanks again for your comments

Cheers

Hi Klaus,

Well you are as prolific as ever, a sort of Chilean military production line. Apart from those wee things that have been picked up by others I must echo jobs well done as is usual. Hope you are well and looking after your latest ship.

Regards,

John

Hi John, glad to hear from you, hope youīre OK.

Thanks for your comments, the idea itīs to give a little "flavour" to the usual builds around. Check the other thread about the UNIMOG I just posted another chilean subject :-)

Hope our first T-23 frigate will arrive soon, just can wait to be aboard of she :-)

Best Regards
Klaus
