i like to do a PBY catalina but want to have a weathered look since most catalinas are well used in sea and varying conditions...
any inputs?

I can think of two suggestions: First, look at pictures of British fjghters in the '30's. I believe silver dope was the standard for awhile. Second, go to any fly-ins or air show in the area,and look at their painted surfaces. There is also a site on the web having to do with seaplanes that has many. many pictures of various planes in all many of paint schemes I'm sorry, I just can not think of the site at this moment. I used it for reference for my Walrus and Albatross. Good luck
