Thought id try my hand at 48th scale for a change,so i had a choice of tamiya or skybow . but what i have read about the tamiya kits is some tools are molded on the hull, dont like that it sounds cheap and nasty.

so i have just orded skybows late tiger and the early tiger both with the indy tracks, plus orded the grills for both tanks from historex.

looking forward to opening the boxes to see how good they are

The Skybow Tigers are really nice, better in overall quality than the Tamiya Tiger. Tamiya 1/48 scale kits are designed to be quick, easy builds. They still look good and are worth the money though.

I will second what Robin said. The Skybow Tiger is great I have the early version and its a nice kit I prefer it to the Early Tiger from Tamiya which I also have.

Have fun

You really won't be disappointed in your choice. Skybows' fine detail is as good as Dragon's, and the Late Tiger comes with some very believale molded zimmerit.
