Seeing that the site is named Armorama, which focuses on military and armor subjects, I doubt you will get much response. The last one is totally lame and not a campaign at all. None of them are up my ally. Good luck.

Hurray for Hollywood Campaign would fit some of your requirements. Although most people will probably be building miliitary themed movies you can actually build any dio from any movie. I believe it would differ a little from your idea since the idea is to build a scene/dio (not just a character) from a movie.

You might want to check out the Civilian Uprising Campaign too.

Yes gents, a non-military campaign IS being held later this year, albeit on Armorama's younger sister, Historicus Forma.

Civilian Uprising (Non-Military)
July 1st, 2006 - October 31st, 2006

Operational Overview
Members are to build figures of a non-military nature – which they would perhaps not normally attempt. Examples include: Indian w/horse; fantasy (anything goes but must be humanoid); Anime; civilians (any).

The Rules and Regs
A. Entries may consist of single figures, or vignettes of up to five (5) figures.
B. Scenery and buildings are permitted.
C. All scales are permissible
D. All mediums (i.e. plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, etc) are permitted
E. Final Entry to include 2-4 Pictures

Contest Element
A. Kit Figures - Stock or Minor conversion (i.e. adjust pose, etc).
B. Kit figure Major Conversation.
C. Original Sculptures.

So Luke, yes, all the ideas you covered above (except "what ever you want", as it should read "what ever you want as long as it complies with the campaign rules" ) will be included... but since you're enrolled for this campaign, I suspect you knew that already

Theres also "Gentlemen-start your engines" campaign - it's
totally non military as it covers classic racing and rallye cars.
I belive it now should belong to modelgeek site. You can
read about the campaign after clicking my banner.

You mean like construction workers or factory workers? I think you'll have to give more details because I didn't understand "For the Workers" either.

A construction worker diorama? Do you mean like a "Bob the Builder" LEGO set. No thanks, I'll stick to armor and guns.

Luke,

This is covered by Civilian Uprising. Although I appreciate your suggestion it would perhaps be a duplication of the affore mentioned.

You are most welcome to enter multiple entries in CU, so you can enter your punks (although personally I think you should style him more along the lines of Johnny Rotten that the fellow you showed in that other link) as well as construction workers)

Well, really only one comes to mind...how about you make a model of your first car? I don't know if this would fit into the "Civilian Uprising" campaign. Thanks for your time.

Tim Trmstrong and Lars Fredriksen from the punk band Rancid
