Anyone have any experience with these kits? I have my eye on the Panzer IV, should I run away and not look back, or take the 275 dollar plunge? Also can these things be RCed like Tamiya's large scale tanks?

Thanks,
JC Hayes

yes they can be R/C'd like tamiya in a way. they are alright in detail and its up to you weather or not to run away from some nice kits in 1/15. i would see whats available to bring the kit to modern standards. probably not much, but it's out there stug

Here's a site that lists the parts you'll need to convert two (Mark IV & Stug) of Bandai's 1/15 monsters to R/C: http://www.fragarmor.org/Advanced%20Hints%202.htm

Btw, if your into any of Tamiya's 1/16 kits, this site is an excellent source of information for all the 1/16 kits.

JC ...From what I have seen of these kits ....RUN!! save your money and buy a new tamiya tiger (without the motor) ...The wheels are wrong the turret is too small and it looks alot more like a comic book rendition than the real thing...Of course this is only my oppinion but ....$275.00 could be spent much better elsewhere.
