Well, this is what I've got so far, its still a W.I.P.
I used the Tamiya weathering -make up kits.


The wet spot on the tire is from the dog! Its not glue hahaha, she wanted to see it and gave it a lick for approval.

I think I need to take some of the weathering off...whatcha think?

Looks good and faded. I really like the shade of the tires. I want to see this in person at the meeting tomorrow.

Dave,
Here's a web page that shows you a picture of the items that I used basically. Its very easy to work with. Just dab the applicator that comes in the kit into the color you've chosen and apply it to the model. I believe that I've actually was able to remove some excess with a wet paint brush dabbed into water and lightly brushed it over the excessed area.

The rust color looks great in person, the mud is nice also. In fact, there isn't a color that I used I didn't like. I purchased three kits.
