Has anybody used these (model air not model colour) paints if so what are your impressions?

Last year I convinced myself to buy the silver, chrome and aluminium model-air paints. When I tried them on plasti-card with and without primer through a Badger 150 I discovered that they were all very similar in finish and looked just like silver paint.
Alclad and even Humbrol Metalcote enamel give a much better scale/natural metal finish in my opinion.
I have not used any other of their metallic paints and do like and use their model-air and model color ranges.
