I submitted an idea for a Normandy campaign build a couple of weeks back but haven't heard anything as yet. Basically after Richard MCI's superb Lion Rampant and Charging Bull dio a lot of interest has been shown in British/ Commonwealth troops in Normandy for a build. If we get the build as a campaign then great as we can all register later if not then we'll crack on regardless ( in true British tradition...lol). I suggested British/ Canadian/ Free French and Polish airborne/ground forces in Normandy from the landings to the Falaise Gap. 1/72nd to 1/35th. Vehicles encouraged. Urban or rural. If Jerries are involved they are either surrendering, vehicles abandoned or in combat. If in combat anything goes. We've gone past 6th June so...Go! Go! Go!

Sounds good! I've already started on my infantry. I'm looking at Op Bluecoat with elements of the Guards Armoured Div moving forward past a column of German POW's under escort. Hopefully I can keep the size of this one under control but it's not looking good at this point as I've got a pile of British armour I fancy using. Looking at the IWM site I've seen a lovely pic of Shermans passing Churchills...Doh!
