hey,
I have been using a Fini Airattack 700 compressor.
its a large and heavy oil-less compressor with a big tank and an adjustable regulator that can go from 1-6 bar and its very loud when the motor is on.
I fitted a moisture trap to it.
but now I decided to purchase something small, silent and more airbrush oriented.
I would really like to get some recommendations for such compressors that might meet my needs.
thanks in advance,
Elad.

I use a carbon dioxide tank and regulator. It is completely silent and the gas contains no moisture. A tank will last many models. CO2 is also inexpensive. Check with your local welding supply and they can set you up.

For quiet compressors, you can't beat this one:
AIRMASTER PLUS COMPRESSOR available from Micromark
You'd need to see if is compatible with your electrical supply, since as listed, it's set up for 110v AC.
My friend and Armorama member Tuck uses one of these and said he could use it after his baby went to bed and it didn't disturb her. He gave a demo at a club meeting one night and it's unbelievable how quiet it is. Here is an example of his work withthis compressor.
