Since my Mk IV turned out ok, I thought I would try my hand at another 1/72nd tank. I bought the Hasegawa Panther G and was wondering about engine screens for it. I took a look at Squadron but only found a detail set minus the engine screens. Can anyone suggest a set screens or perhaps an alternative?
Thanks as always
Steve
Later Edit: I also purchased the PzIV kit and it came with the parts for the munitions panzer that goes along with the Karl I have. However, not the assembly instructions for the munitions panzer version. If anyone has them could you scan me a copy? If you do and wouldn't mind scanning them for me, I'll send you my e-mail.

Same here. I wanted to model a late Panther G without zimm so I bought the old Dragon kit with the die-cast (ugh!) hull. This kit was pre PE. The only alternative is to buy the newer early Panther G and sacrifice it for only the screens.

Steve,
Once upon a time that Hasegawa Panther was a good kit, but those days are long past.
Along came ESCI with a decent Panther, but the Nay Sayers state that it is woefully inaccurate, Now the competition is between Revell and Dragon.
For PE screens Eduard produces quite a number of detail sets, they can be found at:
When you open the site, click the scale window to 1/72, then browse to the kit that will fill your needs.
As far as Hasegawa is concerned ....., if you absolutely must go with that kit, I do not believe there is a PE set for that kit, but, if you must have grill screens for it, I suggest going to a Model Rail Road shop. There are many manufacturers that produce theses for HO trains.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Ken, Yes it was useful. I'll order the regular PE for the Panther and check into the model railroad stuff for the screens.
It was also nice to learn they have the PE set for the Karl and the Leopold (I've both kits)
I'm still looking for a set of munitions panzer instructions if anyone might have them.
Thanks again
Steve
