Dragons Henschel Jagdtiger (the earlier moulding).
Painted with Lifecolor acrylics
Friul tracks
Aber Barrel
Karaya cables with Mori eyes
Pioneer tools and tow hooks by Mori
Pe from spares bin
Figure and jacket by Yosci
Apologies to Phil Stutcinkas from whom I copied the tarpaulin (his is far better)
The whole look is one of a very dusty vehicle about to be cleaned
Really chuffed with the exhausts - base textured with Vallejo Sandy Paste, sprayed with Allclad steel, then added Mig rusts. The cloth mop is scratched from sprue, lead wire and chocolate foil. Bucket from DML Tiger 3in1.

Hi Brian,
A marvelous model! I like the idea of a "housekeeping" setting instead of the garden variety fighting scene.
One lil' nit-pick, the cable coiled and attached to the superstructure; is the upper eye supported by something? If not, I imagine the weight would be subcoming to gravity.
Success in aMOM!

Thanks guys
The jacket is part of a resin set from Yosci, its badges are dry transfers from Archer. The water is a few drops of Deluxe Solid Water, a two part resin which dries crystal clear.

What was the reason for a tarp on the top of the fighting compartment? Great looking Jagdtiger

My best guess is that during transport, or down time, it kept rain and dust from entering through the apertures on the roof. These tie downs also appear on the sides of the engine deck, where I assume they had the same purpose. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it

Thats a great job you did there Brian. My eyes were more drawn towards the tarp as it looks perfect in terms of scale. Will be looking forward to your article on it but at first glance, it looked almost like masking tape.
Good luck in AMoM!

Brian:
Great job on the JT. The Tarp and jacket are a nice touch of detail. The tow cable wrapped around the side really caught my eye. Good job.

Well spotted I had it originally facing down ( its loose) and moved it for some reason before taking the pic. I've fixed it for the display case

What brand figure is that?
Great job. Its funny what catches one's eye. For me, it was the blue/gray lining inside the jacket. A feast for the eyes.

Both the figure and jacket are by Yosci. They tend to be slightly more expensive then other figures but have the best sculpting I have seen so far. You can see most of their range here - http://www.armour-models.co.uk/model_kit_yosci.html

Brian , Thats a beauty mate
Love that tarp and the article you did
The fig sets the whole thing off just right.
I love all the little bits... the barrel cleaning rods not in the holder, the water in the bucket and the "flame cut" guide horns missing from the spare links!!! (is there a reason for this????)
Keep up the top notch work mate ,look forward to seeing the Sturmtiger finished

Thanks Andy
The idea for the broken guide horns was that they had broken in combat. and the crew wanted to keep the extra protection for the turret, and rehung them. Finishimg the Sturmtiger is nxt on the list
