Depends on the wall. Do you have any pictures your going my?

Bricks commonly come in a variety of shades and colors. Mostly reds, yellows, and browns.

Id start with a primer coat.. Perhaps a light shade of grey... Whn thats dry, start painting your bricks.. Pick 3 or 4 colours and randomly paint your bricks.. Hope it helps..

so i start with a basecoat, like tamiya dark grey, after that i paint all the bricks in 3 different colors. Do you have suggestions for those 3 colors?
after that a wash? or drybrush?
thnx

Id stay with a lighter basecoat.. Pick a few colours from the the reds, browns and yellows.. Better still, go have a look at an old brick wall..That will give you a really nice reference point. Yes, a wash after you paint to bring out shadows and a drybrush for highlights will go a long way.
