Not sure if this has been posted yet. If so I apologize. However.....

Was just checking out the PMMS site and it shows Tamiya is continuing their line of 1/48 scale kits with.........

325XX US 2-Ton 6x6 Cargo Truck "Jimmy" (Future)
325XX US Medium Tank M26 Pershing (T26E3) (Future)

Sweet! This scale just keeps on getting better and better all the time.

That Pershing will be a nice addition to my 48th scale collection.

Pershing and a Deuce and a Half! Most excellent - I can see that I will finally be taking the 1/48 plunge. Now all I want to see are a DUKW and a jeep. :-)

I agree totally! (Maybe not for the exact reasons as you Scott :-P ) Would love to see a nicely done jeep model in this scale. The possibilities with aircraft dios are endless.

I really want to get into this scale but these releases might push me to it. I feel like you can do quite a bit with this scale.....especially when it comes to dioramas.

I'm sure the Truck will go down a storm with the props boys - tbh I'm surprised Tamiya haven't done more along that line after their Kubelwagen & Citroen early doors.
