Went to my local shop for just two things. Of course I ended up with several semi-major purchases. I went to buy the Marquette T-34 separate track links to build my very old Tamiya SU-85. I also ran across a couple of the new Eduard photoetch sets. The two I picked up were the M-8 HMC exterior set and the T-62 set. Both sets ran about $20 each and contained three photoetch frets. The T-62 set has one fret duplicated and also comes with a mask for the turret numbers and some tactical markings. The T-62 is set #35507 and the M8 is set #35509.

At first look, they appear to be much better than the previous Eduard PE sets. The instructions are downloadable at www.eduard.com. I had checked out each set of instructions prior to purchasing. This is a good idea since it shows you what will be done to the kit with the PE set. Helps to make an informed decision as to whether or not to purschase the set. Been wanting to square away both my old T-62 and M-8 kits for a while now. This will certainly help. Now to find the old PE set for my SU-85.
