Hi Guys;
There appears to be a serious 1/48 resin armour producer in Romania going by the name of WESPE Models, but I rarely hear mention of their line. Can anyone fill me in on: Quality, Availability, Price Range, Delivery, etc.
They have a web site, but show nothing but an email address.
What's with them?
George

I know that for awhile they were pulling members email addresses from this site and spamming their inboxes with unsolicited advertisements. Unfortunately I do not know anything about their quality. I think if you do a search you can find the old threads related to them.
Also, I have creeped around your site and joined awhile back--very nice.

Wespe models 1/35 line is of unique vehicles unavailiable elsewhere and do make up into reasonable representations of the vehicles but in my opinion are overpriced for their quality. I cannot say for sure if their 1/48 line is different but normally manufacturers make different lines the same.
If you look for Roy models reviews here and on the web you will find out more as Roy models were made by Wespe and just marketed under the brand name 'Roy Models'.
Cheers
Cliff

Hi George
I don't know about the quality, but some of their 1/48 line is listed at Great Models http://www.greatmodels.com
I have thought about ordering as they have some interesting stuff such as the Bofors gun and the C15TA armoured truck, but the price is a bit of a deterrent for me.
