I would like to know who makes the best colors for the T-72 tank in Baghdad, 2003? What are the colors?

Maybe I can help. Iraqi T72s sported a variety of colors. Since you are modelling one around Baghdad it could be either the sand color or the tan shade which was seen in the area around Basra and in the Northern part of the country. US Special Tan from Flouquil is a close match.

I have a picture (yeah - its at home somewhere) of an tank park with T55, T62, and T72s lined up and they ALL APPEAR DIFFERENT! So for what its worth I don't think you could go wrong on the coloring -- and with the Iraqi vehicles looking worse for wear..... it gives you even more options!

I have used the colors that I mentioned on a T72 and a BRDM 3 with some suceess, however I do tend to use oil filters of Green, lamp oil blk, white, cad. yellow, burnt umber, and a touch of yellow ochre.

I hope this helps
