Allright here is a little progress on my M163. I have ended up using about every available companies products on this build. The base kit is the Academy M163. Next is the Hobbyfan M163 conversion, which provided the interior and most of the turret. There is the Eduard photoetch set for both the M163 and M113ACAV. Legends productions comes in with the sandbag armor and Stinger missiles on the turret. Verlinden plays a part as well with the hull top and some stores. AEF Designs has a few radios and small details thrown in as well. So basically every company is well represented here. Anyway back to the pics.

Left side of vehicle with sandbag armor.

Right side with sandbag armor and cable reel.

Rear with Legends additions.

Verlinden top with sandbag armor and multiple accessories.

Updated turret with Legends sites and mount for Stinger Missiles.

Better shot of Legends sites and missile mount.

I'm now about ready to start painting. I am going to shoot the whole thing with primer hopefully this weekend. Anyway, will post more as I go.

Looks real sharp! Lots of nice detail and plenty of stuff to look at. Keep up the good work! Did the verlinden roof come from the IDF vulvcan conversion or us vulcan conversion?

The Verlinden set is the IDF M163 set. I really didn't use any of the resin from it, just the photoetch top. The photoetch in this set is incredibly thick! It is actually thick enough that it has wieght to it!
