I'm waiting for some stuff to dry, so I'm posting some more pics,
That's the Verlinden 5cm. gun and I plan on putting one up on the bow also. [ gun not complete, just for show right now ]
I also plan on having alot of mg 34's on deck.
I'm also looking for some Plus Model, quad Maxim guns to decorate the ship with also, so if anyone knows a good source for them let me know.
Thanks in advance - Cheyenne

Thanks Eric, hopefully I'll have some more pics tonight, I've got alot of the structures done, I just have to arrange them on deck foward of where I'm working now. The shapes are easy It's laying out the portholes and windows and doors that are time consuming. I always have to use my little German shipbuilder buddys for walkway and space - size refs.

Hi Cheyenne,

Ha, this just keeps getting better. I don't know if they would be of any use to you but Pit Road have a selection of AA guns in 1/35, that you might be able to utalise. Here's the link -

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Cheers

It looks great Cheyenne but I think your ship is shrinking. WIth the upper deck, figures and that 5cm gun, it doesn't look as big anymore :-)
Can't wait to see more...

Some of us have problems with weathering or grass or dust. Your work makes our worries trivial.

heheheh. Good Job

I wish I could scratch that good.
I'm thinking that your freighter'll have more weapons than cargo if you add the stuff your talking about.
You'd need some reinforcing under the 5cm mount (what with the door there and everything).
Is the sideways box with no openings in it going to be the bridge? If so where's the funnel going to be?

Thanks guys, Kevin, AlanL, the links are helpful.
A little more cabin work [ the aft, small loading boom will be on the top of the structure, above the stairway to the second deck ], planked the second deck and started the bridge deck.
