I have the new premium addition dml ranger set and I was wondering if anyone has put the brass straps together, and if can you give some detail or if someone knows of any instructions on how to put them together that would be great. I know what the straps look like but compared to the brass pieces it gets a little confusing. Thanks in advance.

Curtis: That would be pretty difficult to do with words. I don't have the Ranger set with PE, but I do have the Tarawa Marines, which include the same PE fret.

Here's what I suggest: Study the instructions carefully. It looks like not all the parts are used in the Marine set, so I'll guess you'll have extras from the Rangers, too. It might help to use a highlighter to call out the PE parts numbers on the instructions.

For instance: parts MA1 and MA11 are the two helmet chin straps.

Parts MA9 and MA10 make a strap for an M1 Garand.

Parts MA2, MA3 and MA13 are for a Thompson.

Part MA12 is a M1 carbine strap.
