I am looking for the RAL colour of dutch Leopards 2A4. Especially of those 114 which
were sold to Austria during the mid 90ies. It would also be interesting if some of this paint was supplied to Austria as well.

Hi,

the Austrian army was supplied with Leo 2 by the Netherlands. These tanks are painted in RAL 6014 (in Germany called GELB-OLIV) the early Bundeswehr colour, because they were delivered from german Bundeswehr stocks. You can use Revells NATO-OLIV (R 46 ???) for a faded look of your model. Or you watch under www. modelversium, klick links and search for modelcreator Jens Popp colours (JPS). He has the exact (and other, like FS, BS) colour in his inventory.

but that´s completely wrong. Dutch Leopard 2A4 have the 3 tone NATO paint scheme on. The Austrians didn´t repaint their vehicles and kept the NATO camouflage.

RAL 6031- Bronegrün
RAL 8027- Lederbraun
RAL 9021- Teerschwarz
