Permission to speak sir...
i would like to know if there any New comers like me that have their own website that contains their diorama pics. Or maybe featured in this site. Would like to know and would like to see it.
Thanx.

Wow - what a start! Very nice. Your work is very well done.
I noticed one thing that you could do to add a bit to the dio's is to 'drity' the uniforms a bit more. I didn't see much in the way of dirt on the figures that were standing. If a soldier has gone through a battle and is heading back off the front I would expect more dust and dirt around the knees, elbows, butt, etc.
In the 'There!' dio, the flesh tones seem a bit one dimentional, this could very well be the camera/photo so you have to judge.
Good job, look forward to more posting.

Looks good sicktunez :-)
Maybe a lil more dust and dirt on the uniforms, but good presentation.

Selamat Jalan, Sicktunez !
Real nice diorama work for a newbie !
Some soldiers look a bit too glossy, though. I suggest you experiment a bit with matt coating : that makes them all flatt, which looks more real. Try it on something else before you paint your soldiers, though ! Flatt coating needs to be very well stirred before you apply it. You can also add some flatting agent to your paint and/or coatings. Experiment first !

That looks mighty fine Sticktunez !! Real good dio's out there.
I agree with Jan to do something about the gloss, but for the rest it looks very good to me !!

I think sicktunez you are being a bit modest. Your dios are really good and you seem to have grasped of all the methods needed. I enjoyed these pics. Good luck and welcome omboard. looking forward to seeing more of your work!

In my opinion I think you should leave it as it is. If you feel you can do it better .... do it again. I had this feeling at the start (18 months ago) and Im sorry I kept going over things. Although you might not feel this is your best work, in a short time when you start comparing your latest work with earlier works you will see how much you have developed. I actually am proud now of the earlier models........ and always try to be better with each one!
But maybe thats just me.......!

SickTunez - well done dio (and nice photos, too!). My ONLY suggestion regards the "shine" on the uniforms. I assume you used enamels? To get a better flat look, I might suggest a light coating of Modelmaster FLAT MATTE spray or some other similar flat finish. As your dio looks great "as is", I would suggest just using some flat acrylic clear finish and a small paint brush to hand deliver the finishing detail. Great work!
