Looking good Jerry. Keep it going! One thing to consider though is that when the driver's hatch was opened, it rested in a position where it was fully splayed facing forward, leaning back a little (not like the oval hatches of the large hatch Shermans). Check your wartime pics of M10s or M36s and you'll see what I mean.

Guys,

Here are some pictures of the interior of my M10 GMC with a coat of paint on it,

I will double check the open hatches are at the correct angle when I place them

I used Tamiya white acrylic gave an oil pin wash in black and burnt umber followed by a filter of various tones to bring down the white. On the decking floor I used graphite so show wear and tear over Tamiya OD , it is a bit subtle. I think I over-cooked the chips in black slightly, I thought since it will be buried under a turret and a crew etc it needs to be a bit stronger.

The decals are from Archers, a very fine set and a pleasure to use.

I’d be grateful for some comments on it to help me improve my techniques.

Thank you for taking to look

Regards,

Jerry

Gday Jerry
I really love the interior! The decals set it off wonderfully...
Would work hard at getting the seam off the rear idler wheels though... If your exterior is going to be as good as the interior, then we're in for a treat
Cheers

Your progress looks great! SOmething that really stands out however is your misaligned drive sprockets. They need to be separated and reattached so that their guide teeth are aligned. They are throwing off your tracks very dramatically and it mars a very nice model.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jerry,
Really like that 'lived in' interior, with the vargas (?) girl reminding the crew about what they were fighting for. Shells look good - are they brass?

Hi guys

Thanks for your comments most useful.I really messed up the tracks on that side my first try with AFV club link by link ones Had a few problems. May have to take them off and start from scratch which I don't really want to do because they'll get trashed.

The shells are from Warriors the 3inch offerings which have the correct neck to the casing they are painted brush with tamiya titanium gold x-31. Which seems to repesent brass better in 1/35 I find brass looks a bit brassy, if that makes sense. Thanks again for taking the trouble to comment gratfully recieved.

Best wishes,
Jerry
