I just posted some photos of the latest project that I completed on the MSN aramorama site. 90 % is scratch built.

It looks terrific! I really like those gun trucks.
What base kit did you use if any?

Hi Nice work indeed!
I have the same question as Kencelot, what kit did you use as starting point?
Because I have an AFV M32 kit plus a Tamiya M16 quadgun, and I'm planning to combine them to make a gun truck..did you use the same aproach?
Keep up the good work.

I used the M-34 2 1/2 ton revell kit for the cab. I scratch built the rear bed and gunbox. the chassis and tires are from the M-923 Italieri kit.

I have already started to rebuild this model. I was contacted by Jerry Barnes, John Brown , and received info from James Lyles about this project. It seems that I had mixed up two vewrsions of this truck. But with the expert help from these guys I am able to correct all the problems and create the early version as it was when John Brown was assigned to her as the Twin 60's gunner. I will repost the new photos when it is completed.
